Gene Manuello has been named to the Northern
Water Board of Directors and Municipal Subdistrict Board
of Directors. He replaces Brad Stromberger, who left the board
in September after eight years of service as the representative
from Logan County. Manuello has served as the president of
the Sterling Irrigation Company for the past 21 years and as
the representative from the agricultural sector on the South
Platte Basin Roundtable for the past 13 years. He also has
served as a member of the Colorado Ag Water Alliance for 13
years, the past six of which he has been vice chairman. Manu-ello
has been appointed to a four-year term by the District
Court Judges of the counties contained by the district. “I am
excited by the opportunity and look forward to learning about
the challenges facing Northern Water,” he said.
In addition, Boulder County resident Sue Ellen Harrison
was reappointed to the Board of Directors for both Northern
Water and the Municipal Subdistrict. She has been a member
of the boards since 2009.
