IN AN EFFORT TO DO ITS PART TO ENCOURAGE
aspiring civil and environmental engineers to enter
the water industry, TGO Technologies has initiated a
scholarship program in partnership with AWWA. TGO,
maker of ChlorTainer, is establishing a $5,000 scholarship
eligible to students attending schools where one of its
ChlorTainer containment units is sold. Currently students
in New Mexico are eligible for these scholarships.
In its first year of the program, the company was able to raise
and donate $5,000. The goal is to reach an annual donation
threshold of $20,000. AWWA annually distributes more
than 40 scholarships to students nationally, ranging from
