With an eye to the future, DWSD is piloting the first rainwater harvesting program in
Colorado. DWSD is also partnering with stakeholders in the basin to find a regional
solution for wastewater.
Cole brings extensive experience, having led several complex water programs
advancing sustainability goals in Colorado and across the country. She is an effective
communicator, who engages stakeholders and works collaboratively with partners to
find solutions to challenges. Prior to joining DWSD, Cole was the Regional Business
Leader for Olsson, where she spearheaded the development of public sector work
for water, transportation, and environmental teams along the Front Range. Cole will
leverage her engineering and legal background to advance the mission of DWSD.
She is a member of AWWA, the Design Build Institute of America, the Colorado
Municipal League, the Special District Association, the Denver Metro Chamber of
Commerce, and the Downtown Denver Partnership.
