approach was used to gain input and insight from all levels
of the organization. Not only does this provide a more
holistic understanding of SACWSD’s needs, but it provides
SACWSD staff increased ownership and understanding
of their AM program, and subsequently improves their
ability to implement these efforts and continue to scale
the program appropriately and independently after project
completion.
Perhaps even more vital to the success of SACWSD’s project
was the emphasis on change management. When it comes
to highly technological systems, it can be easy to forget
how much human-centric qualities affect our ability to
implement beneficial programs. For SACWSD, an effective
