Efficient and targeted AM sets
the foundation for mitigating risk
because a critical part of AM is
putting everything into the
common currency of risk.
Having already developed tools to identify critical assets,
determine asset replacement costs, and improve the CMMS
to accurately collect data, SACWSD will be able to use
this information to expedite completing the RRA process.
Critical assets and asset replacement costs are part of the
foundational data needed to complete the RRA. Efficient and
targeted AM sets the foundation for mitigating risk because
a critical part of AM is putting everything into the common
currency of risk. This enables SACWSD to focus capital work
and day-to-day work on critical assets to reduce risk and
increase reliability proactively.
